Sometimes I write a newsletter I’m really proud of: I’m pleased with the content, and confident it will help people.
And I might get zero response to those newsletters!

My in-laws stayed with us for three weeks over Christmas... and while it was lovely to see them, having guests for three weeks is tiring!
I'm starting this post with a sad tone, but there's an inspiring message I want to get across.
Over the course of this year I’ve unsubscribed from a ton of newsletters.
Some I didn’t read any more; others I had outgrown. But some were bloggers whose work I used to love! Today I want to share a simple exercise to help you feel good.
A friend told me about it, and I think we can all benefit from it. For many of us, the topic of work comes up a lot.
More specifically: finding work we love. Today I want to talk about something I expect we all do from time to time:
Putting off little jobs, until they become HUGE jobs in our head! While I’m still feeling sad from the past few weeks (when I lost a friend), I also know the importance of looking forward, while keeping loved ones in your heart.
This week I’ve been thinking of ways I can honour the people I’ve lost... and one of those ways is to make our lives as rich as we can, with them in mind. Hey there!
I went to a “gratitude and calligraphy” workshop at the weekend. We reflected on our year... and then wrote some of our key words in calligraphy (in case you wondered how the two connected!) |
