What signs are you ignoring?

I haven’t written a blog post for a while. (Anyone else feel like they’re moving through mud with COVID?!)
 
We moved house a few weeks ago, and I underestimated how busy it would be. And how much stuff we have :)
 
I’ve had some other things going on as well...
My dad recently had surgery, I’ve had some personal challenges, and my toddler has been really clingy since we moved. 

(Sometimes I have to move round the kitchen with him holding on to my leg!) 

Some reflection...
 
With all this going on, I’d been wondering if I should scale back my business.

Stop promoting my services, pause my blog posts, and focus on my current clients and life in general.
 
But that made me feel really sad.
 
I love being in touch with my readers!
 
I love that I’ve found my passion, after many years of working in jobs I didn’t enjoy.

And then this happened...

  1. I looked at my newsletter sign-ups... and I had a whole bunch of new people! (Hello, if that's you!)

  2. I had a registration for my habit program... from Serbia! (Hello, new Serbian friend over the internet! :)

  3. I found out a podcast I guested on had been released.
 
End result...

These things gave me a renewed sense of purpose.

I felt determined.
 
They reminded me that my business makes me feel alive.
 
I don’t want to scale it back! Even though my time is limited right now.
 
So I took the above as signs... I’m carrying on. I'll find a way to make it work. (Woo hoo!)
 
Now, some of you may not believe in signs, and that’s totally cool.
 
But if you do, they can be really useful.

Something to think about this week:

What signs are you ignoring?
 
What are the signs around you telling you?

  • Perhaps you’ve been feeling low on energy, and know you need to start working out. (Ahem.... *raises hand* :)

  • Perhaps your job has been getting you down, and you know deep down it’s time to look for a new one.

  • Or maybe there’s a relationship in your life that has run its course, and it’s time to gently let it go.
 
Either way, see if you can take an honest look at what the signs are telling you.
