What is success?
Or none of these things? My theory... I think that success is whatever you want it to be. But the most important thing is to define your version of success.
Success isn’t always what society tells us it is. And it’s definitely not Hollywood-movie images. (How many times have you been somewhere that looks or sounds amazing, only to feel slightly crap while you’re there?!) Why should we do this? Well, the best thing about defining what success looks like for you is that you can move towards it once you know what you’re aiming for. You have a direction to move in. So have a think today… What does success mean for you? What would you be genuinely pleased to say you’ve done at the end of your life? Don’t go after someone else’s dream. It’s easy to follow society’s version of success. But it doesn’t always bring fulfilment. So figure out what it looks like for YOU, so you can start taking steps towards it. How does your definition of success different from society's (sometimes restrictive) definition? What does success look like to you? And are you moving towards it, or away from it? I'd love to hear! Cheering you on, whatever your definition of success is :) Claire If you liked this post, you may also like: 25 things successful people do One reason you may not be making progress on your dream

I wouldn't say my definition of success is flashy or witty, but I believe it: Success is when you've made yourself a productive and ethical member of society.

Ah Priscilla - love it! That's awesome! And I don't think our definitions of success have to be flashy or witty :)
