I haven't blogged for a while. Partly due to time, but also because I got all in my head about how my blog posts weren't any good... (full disclosure there!) Keeping pesky thoughts in check is an ongoing process :) I finally managed to kick those thoughts aside, and I'm back... with a short post, and a new program announcement... woo hoo! What I've learnt recently...
I recently took part in a parenting course offered by our son's development consultant. (He started walking very late, so we have ongoing physio and other bits for him.) I love to learn... and there's always something new you can learn about parenting ;) The course was simple, but really good. The basic premise was:
I love these so much. Both so true! There's no such thing as "perfect" - so let's ditch that. "Good enough" is just as it sounds - good enough! And I absolutely believe it's never too late. (And if it is too late - if you missed the cut-off for something... How could you work around it? How could you get to your main goal another way? And get clear: Why do you even want what you want?) Because it's never too late to:
That's pretty much it for today. I told you it was short ;) Replace perfect with good enough; and know that it's never too late. I hope to be back writing again soon.
