We all know that things are weird right now... I don’t need to tell you that!
It’s easy to feel down with everything that’s going on around us – especially when most of us can’t see friends and family in person. So I thought I’d share tools I’ve been using to pick myself up, while my usual methods of cheering myself up are off limits.

Hey there!
I went to a “gratitude and calligraphy” workshop at the weekend. We reflected on our year... and then wrote some of our key words in calligraphy (in case you wondered how the two connected!) Last week I bought myself a sticker book (yes, an adult sticker book!), and I’ve been “stickering” most nights.
Very often, our world seems so full of bad news - murders and tragedies and pain.
I read something recently that said that we’ve never been exposed to so much bad news. I had a baby last year, and as a result, I’ve been thinking about what I want for the little guy... my hopes and dreams for him.
And although his life plan will be up to him, there’s one thing I REALLY hope he has. I’ve been a minimalist for years now... and I love it.
Now, I’m not a militant, “don’t-own-anything” kind of person. I just feel better with less clutter around me. And I prefer to spend money on activities rather than things. |
